Since you can put it in gear without mashing the clutch and the car doesn't move, sounds like a total clutch failure. Could be a snapped clutch disc or pressure plate failure. : Today the Z was driving fine, and it always has. : The clutch was supposedly replaced 9,000 miles ago by the person whom I purchased it from. Anyways, the Z decided to suddenly not drive forwards anymore. I can put it in gear without pressing the clutch pedal down. A slight "air-rushing" pulsating sound can be heard from under the rear of the engine when in gear, without the clutch pedal pushed. The sound goes away when the pedal is depressed. The car decided to do this about 100 feet from the enterance to the Nissan dealer. Any ideas?
